Decathlon will sell clothing from the rugby brand Canterbury starting in July

The sports equipment distribution company Decathlon and Canterbury, a New Zealand company specialized in rugby, have signed a collaboration agreement that will extend until the Rugby World Cup in Australia, which will be held in 2027.

Recognized in the world of rugby, the New Zealand brand has regularly equipped the best teams in the world since the nineties. As a multi-specialist global sports brand, Decathlon has also established itself as a designer of appropriate and efficient technical products to carry out the practice of rugby.

Able to manage all stages of design, the French brand aims to offer the most appropriate and efficient offer. His desire is to move people through sport, whether they are athletes starting out in a discipline or professionals.

Thanks to this collaboration, starting next July, Canterbury products will be available both in Decathlon stores and on the online channel. From ‘Canterbury by Decathlon’ balls, t-shirts, helmets, protective underwear and mouth guards.

As a designer and distributor of sporting goods, Decathlon supplies rugby products in more than 600 of its stores in Europe. This network is especially strong in France (250 stores), Spain (120), Italy (100) and the United Kingdom (50). In addition, these products will also be distributed outside of Europe.
