The 23-year-old Argentine left-back, Braian Cufré will be a Majorcan player in the next few hours, according to the TyC Sports chain from Argentina. As indicated from Argentina, Mallorca has offered Vélez Sarsfield just under a million euros and the agreement between the clubs includes variants related to a possible promotion of the Balearic team to the First Division, a fact that if it occurs would increase the cost of the footballer.
Cufré is a Left back of great projection whose contract with Vélez expires next year 2021 and therefore it would be free since the player does not want to renew before the possibility of making the leap to European football and seeing Mallorca as a good possibility to continue growing as a footballer.
Initially, Liniers' team had valued the player at 2.5 million euros, an unattainable figure for Mallorca which has finally offered almost a million for 50% of the player's rights plus the aforementioned variables.
In this way, the Balearic club could resolve one of its great pending accounts: doubling the position of left back, in the hands this preseason of the youth of the quarry, Iván Bravo with the youthful Rafael Obrador in the bedroom. The other left-handed back who is on the island pending his signing is official is the Catalan Brian Oliván, from Cádiz and that last season he played on loan at Girona. Oliván arrived on the island on Sunday but the club has not yet made his signing official.
