Aduriz, as always in this second stage of Valverde on the rojiblanco bench, was the top scorer with 16. The contribution of his teammates, however, was not negligible.
Ibai finished that league tournament as the second top scorer with 8 goals, one more than Muniain. Susaeta, meanwhile, was fourth on the list of scorers with 6 goals.
The contribution of the men in midfield did not go unnoticed either. In addition to the versatile De Marcos; Mikel Rico, San José and Ander Herrera finished that League with five goals to their credit. The march of the latter to Manchester United was noted a year later.
