Aritz Elustondo, dressed in an orange shirt, attends the Real match in Riazor with the txuri urdin fans

His image for the realistic fan will always be associated with a photo, a snapshot of the Riazor stands in which he was seen as another fan cheering for the team: “That year I was on loan to my hometown team, at the Beasain” , recalls. “I had the option of traveling to Riazor with my brother and his crew because I had that weekend off and it was a game that I wanted to go see. With the age he was, it was difficult to go to all the Real games and above all away from home. In the end I got into the atmosphere a bit even knowing that someone might get to know you, but I didn't care, I was enjoying it and it was also a perfect afternoon because the Real achieved the objective. I was a little protagonist of that photo but I do not regret anything. I am proud of what I have done so far and it has always been seen that I feel the colors, either as a fan or as a first team player ”.

It is precisely that breath of the fans that he most longs for Aritz now as a footballer: “They miss them a lot. It's being a very difficult year because we don't feel its heat on the pitch. You can see that the empty stadium is nothing ”. In addition, “we had started a new adventure which was to be in the new field, with them, with the fans cheering at all times and they miss that a lot. Hopefully little by little among the people. We know that we are going through a very difficult time but we are eager for that normality to begin so that people return because if not, we are nothing. We want to celebrate many things with them ”.
