The program of events commemorating its centenary begins with an act of presentation of the new corporate image of the club. With the desire to develop a program of celebrations that remains “as something pleasant and very special” in the memory of the fans, the entity has started by renewing its shield.
The previous one, which has been in force for 20 years, has been replaced by a new one, defined by the club itself as “versatile and modern with a nod to the original”. The flag that has accompanied the entity during its hundred years of history, which will be held on January 23, 1921, is kept in it.
In addition, it has opted for the two colors of the team, white and blue, with the aim of “adapting it to the new times”, since the previous one gave problems when it came to reproducing it in the different digital systems and platforms that are emerging. In addition to the aforementioned pennant, a circumference has been chosen as the background to highlight its letters and numbers “making a nod to the circular sphere used in 1923”.
