Achraf, called in Israel for supporting Palestine

Undoubtedly, one of the images of the French Super Cup that Lille won against PSG were the whistles that Achraf Hakimi received from the Israeli public. The Trophée des Champions is always played outside of France and the Moroccan international took a loud whistle during the 90 minutes for supporting Palestine on social media.

The former Real Madrid player published a tweet months ago that read “Free Palestine” to support Palestine in its conflict with Israel. Something that did not go unnoticed by all the Israeli fans who gathered today to watch the final between Lille and PSG. Even the public celebrated in the 10th minute a play in which Reinildo, a Lille winger, took the ball from Achraf with a clean entrance.

Achraf was one of the best PSG players in the final, if not the best. The winger was the only signing who played the starting Super Cup today (Wijnaldum entered the second half) and did not stop trying on the right wing, although with no luck in the final result. The player cared little for the whistles for his support for Palestine and it was a great match.
