MADRID, 21 Ene. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The president of the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF), Rafael Louzán, visited Buenos Aires this Tuesday, as part of his trip to Argentina and Uruguay, and met with the president of the Argentine Football Association (AFA) , Claudio Tapia, to “strengthen ties” with the South American country, which will host, along with Uruguay and Paraguay, some of the first matches of the World Cup in Spain, Portugal and Morocco 2030.

After a first stop on Monday in Montevideo to meet with leaders of the Uruguayan Football Association, Louzán visited the AFA headquarters on Tuesday. There, together with Claudio Tapia, they have shared “the numerous links that the history of football has generated between both countries.”

Argentina, three-time world champions, will be part of the World Cup tournament in 2030, with several matches held at the start of the tournament to celebrate the hundred years of the first World Cup, in which the Albicelestes reached the final.

In addition, Louzán met in the capital of Buenos Aires with the thirty clubs that make up the Professional Football League of the Argentine Football Association, whose executive committee has been convened precisely for this Tuesday in the administrative city of Ezeiza.
