Sebastián Mora will compete again in the 2023 Track Cycling Champions League

The Spanish cyclist Sebastián Mora will once again compete in the Endurance modality of the 2023 Track Cycling Champions League after being included in the list of the 18 ‘pistards’ to participate in the competition in which the man from Vilareal has been runner-up in 2021 and 2022.

Mora will face, among others, the Dutch Matthijs Büchli, current Olympic champion and four-time world champion, the British William Tidball, also world champion, and the Swiss Claudio Imhof, current Champions League champion and who returns to defend his qualification.

In addition, the competition organization also revealed the initial list of 18 runners, which includes figures such as the British Katie Archibald, Neah Evans and Sophie Lewis, and the Norwegian Anita Stenberg.

The 2023 Champions League will have five rounds spread across four venues, starting on October 21 and ending on November 11. Palma de Mallorca will host the first round, Berlin and the French town of St-Quentin-en-Yvelines the second and third, respectively, to finish with the fourth round and the grand final at the Lee Valley velodrome in London.
