Zverev and Kachanov win titles in Chengdu and Zhuhai

The German tennis player Alexander Zverev and the Russian Karen Kachanov were proclaimed this Tuesday champions of the tournaments on the tour of China held in Chengdu and Zhuhai, scoring for the ATP and which were played on hard courts.

Zverev won his second title of 2023, twenty-first in total, after the one in Hamburg (Germany) and reinforced his chances of being in the ATP Finals after coming back and defeating the Russian Roman Safiullin, who was playing in his first final, by 6-. 7(2), 7-6(5), 6-3.

For his part, Kachanov ended a five-year drought without lifting a trophy on the professional circuit by beating Japanese Yoshihito Nishioka more easily in his final in two sets, 7-6(2), 6-1, to add the fifth success of his career.
