MADRID, 25 Mar. (EUROPA PRESS) –
Estrella Galicia 0.0 and MotoGP celebrated this Saturday the recent agreement by which the Spanish brand becomes the Official Beer of the MotoGP World Championship.
Ignacio Rivera, CEO of Corporación Hijos de Rivera (Estrella Galicia 0.0), and Carmelo Ezpeleta, CEO of Dorna Sports, participated in the event as part of the second round of the World Cup, after the union announced last Wednesday.
“Motorcycling is one of the projects that has given us the most reasons to toast with our Estrella Galicia 0,0 in recent years. Fostering the development of rider talent from the base has been and is our reason for being since we started in the paddock in 2011 and, after more than a decade enjoying its successes, we are delighted to be able to go one step further and become the Official Beer of the MotoGP World Championship globally, something that is undoubtedly a milestone for our company. Rivera said.
“Not only are we united by values of excellence and innovation, but our maverick nature also leads us to set challenges to work together with the entire community, progressively incorporating positive impact as part of the MotoGP agenda,” he added.
For his part, Carmelo Ezpeleta welcomed the alliance. “We are delighted to welcome Estrella Galicia 0,0 as the Official MotoGP Beer. A global brand with a rich history in motorsport is the perfect partner for the world’s most important motorcycle championship,” he said.
“We are looking forward to seeing the name of Estrella Galicia 0,0 on the track and in our broadcasts, as well as welcoming their initiatives in the paddock and in the MotoGP VIP Village as we consolidate this strong partnership,” he added.
