FC Barcelona signs a sponsorship agreement with the Mexican television channel ‘afizzionados’

FC Barcelona announced on Monday an agreement with the television channel specializing in sports ‘afizzionados’, which is incorporated as the ‘Official Regional Partner’ of the Catalan team in Mexico for the next three seasons.

As indicated by the club chaired by Joan Laporta, thanks to this alliance the millions of ‘afizzionados’ subscribers will be able to enjoy exclusive content and experiences linked to Barça, among which, raffles for tickets to the Spotify Camp Nou and shirts of the first men’s and women’s teams.

“The alliance between Barça and the supporters represents a step forward in Barça’s presence in Mexico, a country closely linked to the club’s history, both from an institutional and sporting point of view”, remarked the Barça team, who recalled, among other things, that he lived there in 1937 “one of the most important international tours in its history, in the middle of the Civil War, which meant a new global impetus for the Entity”.

For his part, Juli Guiu, vice president of the Marketing area of ​​FC Barcelona, ​​believes that thanks to this agreement they can get “much closer” to their Mexican fans “with audiovisual and content experiences linked to the world of football.” “In this way we reinforce the feeling of belonging of the Mexican fans with the club, in a country very dear to Barcelona fans,” he stressed.

‘Afizzionados’ is a pay TV channel that is one hundred percent dedicated to the world of sports with content on live matches, as well as debates, interviews, news and analysis of soccer teams, and which has original productions such as ‘Super Stadium’ and ‘Vamos América’, and with exclusive content from the great teams in Europe.
