Unsigned agreement by Alderete

Omar
Alderete will be a player of Valencia the next campaign. The Mestalla club already has an agreement with the Hertha
Berlin so that the Paraguayan center-back arrives on loan to the squad he directs Joseph
Bordalás. The coach will thus have his first signing, an express request from Alicante.

The agreement that the three parties have closed is not yet signed and it remains to be put on paper and that the player, who has just started his vacation after playing the Copa América, undergoes the relevant medical examination.

Alderete's arrival on loan includes a purchase option on the player that, according to sources familiar with the operation, would not always be mandatory but would be according to certain results. The amount of that purchase is not yet clear either.

With Alderete, whose arrival his agent has already made some progress, Bordalás rebuilds the central part of his defensive line, which had been left lame with the departure of Eliaquim Mangala. In addition to the Paraguayan, center-back Jorge Sáenz has also joined the team after an unsuccessful two-year loan to Celta de Vigo.

In principle, Sáenz would have no place in the team but if he finally left the squad, Mouctar Diakhaby could have options if he convinces Bordalás in the next few weeks.
