Zunder Palencia is promoted to the ACB for the first time

MADRID, 19 Jun. (EUROPA PRESS) –

Zunder Palencia prevailed (95-83) over Hereda San Pablo Burgos in the outcome of the ‘Final Four’ of the LEB Oro held at the Coliseum in Burgos, thus achieving their first promotion to the Endesa League.

The Palencia team entered the ACB this Sunday for the first time in its history, accompanying a MoraBanc Andorra to the highest category that rose directly as champion.

Pedro Rivero’s men dominated the final from start to finish, despite a final reaction attempt by the Castilian team. The Burgos fans were left with honey on their lips before the recital of a Chumi Ortega in MVP mode (32 points).
