La Real has received the Fútbol Draft award for the best academy, a prestigious award won for the second consecutive edition. The work of Zubieta, the sporting successes and the category of the home players, without whose influence on the main teams sporting well-being would not be understood, have led the club to this outstanding position on the state scene.
The Draft Football Technical Committee recognizes Real as a leading club in the training of footballers and gives it this recognition for the third time (2013, 2021, 2022). Seven realists have received, in the same way, different distinctions. Nerea Eizagirre y Amaiur Sarriegi (Where of Gold); Beñat Turrientes (Eleven Silver); Other Barrenetxea, Jon Pacheco, Julen Lobete y Jon Karrikaburu (Eleven Bronze); in addition to Xabi Alonsowho has been decorated with the ‘Iñaki Sáez Award’ for best coach, the first time this award has been given out.
