Zidane, the scourge of Barça

In just over four years, with the card still almost new, Zidane has become an accomplished and proven coach in the elite. His two specialties, rescues and triumphs, have avoided Real Madrid several historical dramas and have Barcelona on the ropes: since January 2016, when the French traded Castilla's bench for superior, the hottest in the world, He has raised 11 trophies for 8 at the Camp Nou.

When Zidane appeared, the historical marker of titles was 83-87, for the current 94-95, in favor of Barça, that Messi fully promised them very happy. He did not see that part of 11-8 coming with the Marseillaise, that in these years to which we must discount their sabbatical months he has narrowed the distance. At the Camp Nou they have celebrated three Leagues, three Cups and three Super Cups from Spain, but they have said goodbye to the Champions (the last one is from 2015) and the possibilities that the maximum European competition opens: The most recent European Super Cup and Club World Cup are from August and December 2015, five months and one, respectively, before the appearance of ZZ.

TITLES SINCE JANUARY 2016

TOURNAMENT REAL MADRID BARCELONA
CHAMPIONS 3 (2016, 2017 AND 2018)
CLUB WORLD CUP 2 (2016 AND 2017)
EUROPEAN SUPER CUP 2 (2016 AND 2017)
LEAGUE 2 (2017 AND 2020) 3 (2016, 2018 and 2019)
SPAIN SUPERCUP 2 (2017 AND 2020) 2 (2017 and 2019)
COPA DEL REY 3 (2016, 2017 and 2018)
TOTAL eleven 8

In addition, Zidane, who averages a title every 19 games, has a more than positive balance in the face-to-face of the Classics. He has led nine, with four wins (44.44%; two to achieve the 2017 Super Cup), three draws (33.33%) and only two defeats (22.22%). In them he comes out narrowly winning in the goal count: 14-11. But these statistics are more revealing if you look at what happened during the Frenchman's respite, in which there were four Classics with three defeats and a draw, two goals scored and ten fitted. The film is now another because Zidane has taken the measure for Barça.
