Zidane: “I feel the support of the club and I trust that we are going to move this forward”

Knows Zidane that, before him Seville, you play much more than three points. Among other things, his head is at stake and, on this, about his future, a large part of the questions were channeled in the press conference prior to the duel against the Hispanics.

However, the French coach, far from throwing balls out, assured that perhaps this is “the most complicated moment of his time as coach at the Real
Madrid”. Despite everything, the Frenchman trusts his players to “get this done” and that, he said, “is the most important thing.”

Nor did he want to give more voice to the criticisms of the last days which he considered “normal” due to the results of the last days. “They are important but I don't think about them because it is normal when you coach Real Madrid.”

As it is also important that he feels supported by the club, something that he made clear as soon as he was asked directly. “Yes, I feel the support of the club and the affection of the players. It is clear that it is a difficult situation but we want to compete, win and show that we are a good team ”.

Did not leave Zidane doubt and even took charge of repeating several times that he “trusts a lot” in his players and that he is convinced of “getting this done”. But, yes, without throwing the bells on the fly and being cautious in every way.

First Seville, then the Champions

And is that the match against Sevilla is the only thing that he showed to have Zidane in the head and not the capital duel of Champions next Wednesday. “Sevilla is a great team, which always competes, and we are only focused on that. We cannot focus on what comes further because, although it is important, it is not the most immediate ”.

As for proper names, that of Sergio Ramos and his presence or not in the duel against Sevilla was one of the most talked about. Zidane did not reveal whether or not he will have the player and assured that “he will not risk a player with discomfort”. The Frenchman made it clear that he does not want to have “a player who is not 100% and who can do more damage if he plays.”
