Athletic Club player Yuri Berchiche will not be able to play this Saturday in the EA Sports LaLiga match against Atlético de Madrid, at the Cívitas Metropolitano at 9:00 p.m., due to a traumatic injury sustained in action during the match against Granada CF.
“The player Yuri Berchiche is out due to a traumatic injury to the posterior tibial artery as a result of the contusion caused to his right ankle by the tackle received in the Athletic-Granada match,” announced the Bilbao club.
An action that forced Ernesto Valverde to replace the full-back in the 70th minute of the game. Yuri is receiving medical treatment and is “pending progress” to be able to return to the team.
