Yolanda Díaz's breakfasts: her ministry spends 68,000 euros on industrial pastries, churros and batons

The Ministry of Labor and Social Economy, led by Yolanda Díaz, spends 68,000 euros on churros, batons and industrial pastries for its employees' breakfasts. This election is far from the slogans that the former Minister of Consumer Affairs promoted in his day. Alberto Garzónwho has now signed up for Pepe Blanco's consulting firm and recommended a “healthy, sustainable and dignified diet.”

In a document published this Wednesday by the Ministry of Labor, it is detailed how much budget they allocate to each processed food. Cahapatinas (a small ciabatta bread) reach first place in the cafeteria of the Ministry of Labor and Social Economy with a budget of 14,000 euros. Secondly, the ministry headed by the second vice president of the Government has spent 5,278 euros on bars and pistols. The classic butter croissants occupy third place with 4,162 euros. They are followed by the varied mini pastries with 422 euros, the normal Neapolitan ones with 228.80 and the Neapolitan ones with chocolate with 228.80 euros.

All of these products have been awarded for the ministry's cafeteria, located in the Nuevos Ministerios complex at Paseo de la Castellana, 63, in Madrid. Other ministries will also have access to these products.

FrutÃcolas Ateca, a company based in Ocaña (Toledo), has been awarded this contract, which will end on March 20 when the products are served. Likewise, the ministry of the also leader of Sumar has put out to tender the contracting of the cafeteria and dining room services (self-service) of the Central Headquarters of the State Public Employment Service (Sepe).
