Xavi, in no hurry to sign

Xavi Hernández does not want precipitation or impulsive decision making. And to be able to make that assessment they will still have to spend a few days, since right now he has ten injured and ten internationals out, therefore, it is not expected that it will be an immediate meeting of the sports management to make decisions for the winter market.

Xavi wants to have a complete idea of ​​the needs and shortcomings of his staff, but being realistic and fair with the number of people he has. Over the next few weeks, depending on the performance in training and games, he will evaluate the real state of the dressing room and then it will be time to act, in order to reinforce a squad that is clearly unbalanced.

He also wants to test several players from the subsidiary, aware that La Masia has to supply the deficiencies of the first team and be a systematic transmission channel at all levels. During these days he has already tested a total of fourteen homegrown players, between players from Barcelona B and Juvenil A.

Once the actual state of the squad has been dissected by the coaching staff, It will be the moment when Xavi Hernández meets with the football director, Mateu Alemany, and with the international scouting manager, Jordi Cruyff, to agree on the reinforcements that the team would need in the winter market, both in positions and names, being well aware of financial constraints that the club has, since some say that it will only have ten million euros if there is no sale in that same window.
