Wolverhampton are going to go on the market for a striker and one of their main targets is the Sevilla player Youssef En-Nesyri, whose numbers this season are attracting the attention of several Premier League clubs.
After Sevilla rejected last winter a proposal of 30 million euros from West Ham, according to a publication of the 'Daily Star', the Wolves, at the request of their coach, Bruno Lage, are preparing an offensive in the face of the problems they have in the front. The Mexican Raúl Jiménez suffered an injury after a blow to the head, a head trauma, from which he has already recovered but after which he will be tested in a friendly in August, while the information assures that they will not make the purchase option effective by Willian José, on loan from Real Sociedad since January.
The shots are for an offer, according to the British press, of 35 million pounds for the Sevilla striker, just over 40 million euros for a player who has scored 24 goals this season under the command of Julen Lopetegui, 18 in the League and 6 in the Champions League.
Sevilla hopes to take advantage of the market pull and collect a figure if not close to its termination clause (80 million euros), it does at least exceed 50 million, while also playing with the player's intention to stay one more year in Sánchez Pizjuán, as he has made it clear that he will only leave Nervión to go to a big one. In England his name has been linked to some of the important teams, such as Arsenal, but the interest has not crystallized in anything serious. For now, West Ham, who promised a new attempt, and Wolverhampton are the ones who seem to be willing to bid for the Moroccan international, for whom Sevilla paid 20 million a year and a half ago.
