Wilfred, historic goalkeeper, and Marbella part their ways

Juan Manuel Muñoz García ‘Wilfred’ and Marbella have parted ways. Through a statement he reported that the historic goalkeeper ceased to belong to the club after having reached an agreement to terminate the remaining year of his contract.

Wilfred, 36 years old, completed his third season in the Costa del Sol team with which he played 103 games and two qualifying rounds for promotion to Second that consolidated him as one of the best goalkeepers in the category. Through the aforementioned official statement, the club thanked him for his commitment and professionalism.

The sports management led by Víctor Moreno is already at work in the design of the new squad and, of course, in the incorporation of another goalkeeper to replace Los Palacios, who has made history with Marbella and has won the eternal affection of the fans.
