Princess Leonor is one step away from completing her course at the General Military Academy of Zaragoza (AGM). It will be her first year in the ranks of the Army, where she has sworn in as a lady cadet. Of all the basic training and instruction exercises that she has practiced in San Gregorio, she has not participated in combat. It is published by El Confidencial Digital.
Leonor receives a course designed especially for her due to her status as heiress. From the first moment it was announced that she would go through the three military officer academies and she would do it in three years, instead of five.
During her training in Zaragoza, the daughter of Felipe VI and Letizia has not faced practice to engage in hand-to-hand combat. They explain from the digital citing sources in the environment that her training is basic, group exercises and activities focused on assembling weapons and military equipment.
Skill, ability, responsibility, camaraderie and spirit of sacrifice. These are some of the values that Leonor has learned along with the rest of the first-year cadets. The heiress, as has been mentioned, stands out for being a brilliant student, who has passed the Academy’s tests and exams outstandingly.
The heiress will participate in the next commemorative event on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the XLIV flag oath of the Academy promotion. The event, which will be attended by his parents, will be held this Saturday, May 4 at 11:30 in the morning in La General.
The princess will complete her course in Zaragoza on June 19. It will be in a closing ceremony, as indicated in the calendar of activities of the University Defense Center. It is a coincidence that that same day Felipe VI celebrates the 10th anniversary of his proclamation.
On that date, June 19, cadet Leonor will have completed her cycle in the Army. Her next stage is Marín. In the Pontevedra town, the daughter of Felipe VI and Letizia will enter the Naval School and will embark on the Juan Sebastián Elcano Training Ship. In the Navy, Leonor will join as a Midshipman.
