Pierre Achille Webó Kouamo (Bafoussam, Cameroon, January 20, 1982) is a former Cameroonian nationalized Uruguayan footballer, who became the protagonist of the Champions League match on Tuesday for an act of racism during PSG-Istanbul Basaksehir, a club in which he is assistant coach since November 26, 2019.
Webó is an old acquaintance of the Spanish League, since he played in Osasuna, Leganés and Mallorca. TOhe Navarrese club arrived in 2003 from Nacional de Montevideo. His first year was loaned to Leganés to adapt to the Spanish championship. After that transfer he returned to the Osasuna ranks until 2007, when he was released and signed for Mallorca. In the vermilion club he stayed until 2011 to later go to Turkish football. In Spain he scored 51 goals (23 with Osasuna and 28 with Mallorca).
In Turkey he played 11 seasons spread over four teams: Istanbul Başakşehir (2011-13), Fenerbahçe (2013-2015), Osmanlispor (2015-17) and Gaziantep (2017-18). He retired in 2018 at the Nacional de Montevideo. Precisely, his first adventure in Turkey was in the club of which he is now assistant coach.
He was international with Cameroon, a team with which he played 58 games, scored 18 goals and came to play in the 2010 and 2014 World Cups.
