“We wanted to win, but we still lack rhythm”

Paul Tower was one of the positive notes of Barça’s first friendly match 2022-23, which ended 1-1 in Olot. The talented 19-year-old Cantabrian footballer, trained in the Racing, made his debut playing inside on the left and marveled in the first fifteen minutes, although little by little he faded until he was one of the ten changes at half-time. “We wanted to win, but we lacked rhythm, something logical because we’ve only had a few training sessions yet”, he explained, being patient: “We still have a lot preseason to improve, now a tour will come against great rivals and we will have more rhythm”.
