Maria Patino She turns 53 in the prime of her life. She looks splendid and looks happier than last year, when the agony of the end of Sálvame was still fresh in her mind. This August 15th is a very special date for the journalist and presenter that she will celebrate with her loved ones. The Galician has turned the page after her time at Mediaset and is triumphing with Ni qué fueramos. From her beginnings as a reporter or her television forays on Canal Sur or her time at Where are you heart?has fought through hard work, self-love and tenacity and has become a benchmark in the entertainment world.

Between 2003 and 2011, María Patiño was part of the team of commentators on the programme that succeeded Tómbola and was presented by Jaime Cantizano. Those television moments were more than two decades ago. Now, half a century has passed three decades ago, she remains physically fit thanks to taking care of herself and going to the gym with discipline and perseverance. She has also had touch-ups, as she herself has acknowledged. María Patiño’s appearance changed noticeably after her rhinoplasty. In her first television appearances, the presenter’s nose was much more prominent. In 2017, María Patiño underwent a breast augmentation: “I have had my breasts fixed. It was not a complex, nor an obsession, but I know a surgeon and it was something I wanted. Practically, my breasts are going to be the same, but more beautiful,” she told us. She also had a facelift on her knees and thighs, Botox on her face and hyaluronic acid fillers on her face and hands. “It seemed like magic to me, it had an instant effect. It was amazing. I now have the hands of a little girl,” she said.

The journalist is married to the Venezuelan actor Ricardo Rodríguez, 46, owner of a bar in the centre of Madrid, where film workshops are held.
