“We played an almost perfect match”

After the victory against the Real society and even with the euphoria in the body, Carlo Ancelotti went to the press room Bernabeu with the intention of making his joy clear after the game his team played.

A game that, in his opinion, was “almost perfect” and that boosts the whites in terms of confidence ahead of next Wednesday’s match against PSG in which a place in the quarterfinals is at stake.

“I think we played very well. The plan was this, press from above. The plan has gone well. We have done very well. Playing like this we are more likely to do well on Wednesday, ”he said. As for proper names, the first to come to the fore was that of Luka Modric who, at 36 years old, continues to show that he has the rope for a while. “Luka is playing at a very high level and he is helping us a lot,” said the Italian.

He also talked about Kroos and his presence or not in the duel against PSG and the options to replace casemiro.

“There is no player who can replace casemiro. We will introduce another player with different characteristics. Despite this, we are going to compete.” Finally, he also pointed out that “LaLiga is not yet won”.
