“We are prepared for the challenges of January”

Elche goalkeeper Edgar Badía assured that the Elche team arrives prepared for all the challenges that await them in January, alluding to the demanding schedule that awaits them in the League and the Copa del Rey.

The Catalan guedameta affirmed, in declarations to the club’s media, that Elche is taking “steps forward” in the last days of the championship.

“We are more solid and forceful. The feelings are good and we are in the fight ”, added Badía, whose team began the second round of the competition with a victory at Espanyol (1-2).

The Barcelona player praised the “defensive spirit” of the team with and without the ball to stop a rival like Espanyol and reiterated that in recent days Elche has improved “at all levels”.

“We are very satisfied with the progress, but this does not stop, because a very demanding month of January awaits us,” said the Barcelona player, whose team will face Villarreal the next day.
