Wass ponders his future at Valencia

Daniel Wass ponders whether the time has come for him to return to Denmark. This is how he confessed in an interview in the newspaper BT. “I have reached the point where I think if it is the right moment or if I should wait,” he confessed Wass, who would have on the table proposals from Copenaghe and from Brondby, club in which he was formed. As reported by the 90 Minuts program, Wass welcomes the Copenaghe proposal and this has been transmitted by their agents to Valencia in several conversations they have had recently. The position of Valencia, as AS has learned, is today the opposite of opening the exit door.

Wass's commitment in his years at Valencia is described as an example, hence he wanted to renew when Gabriel Paulista's contract was extended, and he is counted on for the Bordalás project. So in fact they have transmitted it to their representatives. But Wass's statements, in which he shows respect for the Mestalla entity (“People underestimate the size of the club that Valencia really is”), they fade that the Dane feels that his cycle in Valencia and Spain would have come to an end. At least for him. Wass has one more year on his contract and Valencia clings to what he signed. Either to keep you in their ranks, or to present an economic offer that has not arrived.

From there the response of the club to its representatives (they have a contract and they have it) and also the player's own confession (“Everything is interesting and of course I want to hear everything, but I still have my contract, so it is Valencia who decides my fate” ). Wass, with more than 200 league games, has just played 35 of the 38 league games, with 4 goals and one assist. His versatility has made him fixed for Marcelino, Celades, Gracia and Voro. Wass arrived at Valencia in the summer of 2018 for 6 million euros from Celta. His record, compared to his performance and hierarchy, is one of those acceptable for the battered coffers of Valencia and his transfer amortization, a premise that the club looks at with a magnifying glass when it comes to adjusting the annual cost of its staff is 1.5 millions.
