Vrsaljko suffers from muscular overload

MADRID, 13 May. (EUROPA PRESS) –

Atlético de Madrid defender Sime Vrsaljko suffers from muscular overload, which occurred on Wednesday in the LaLiga Santander match against Elche, the rojiblanco club confirmed this Friday.

The Croatian winger underwent tests at the Navarra University Clinic to find out the extent of the injury that occurred in the duel against the Elcheites, in which he had to leave the pitch after 7 minutes and was replaced by Renan Lodi .

“The part offered by the club’s medical services indicates that he suffers from an overload. The footballer will begin rehabilitation work and daily physiotherapy sessions and his evolution will mark his incorporation into the group,” said the mattress entity.

Thus, he will miss this Sunday’s match (7:30 p.m.) against Sevilla at the Wanda Metropolitano, while he is a doubt for the last game of the season against Real Sociedad.
