Vlahovic: “We want to go to Europe, everything else does not interest me”

The name of Dusan Vlahovic is on the lips of all the great clubs in Europe. The young Fiorentina striker continues to amaze in Serie A based on great performances and goals, and that is why teams like Juventus Turin are even considering putting a large sum of millions on the table of the viola team in the next winter transfer market. However, and although the future of the 21-year-old striker is uncertain, Vlahovic is clear that his present is in Florence. In an interview with the Serbian media Telegraph, in which he was asked about the last victory achieved against AC Milan and the qualification for the Qatar 2022 World Cup achieved with Serbia, the forward focused on his current club: “We are all working and we want to go to Europe, because Fiorentina has not played there for many years and I think it would be a great success for the club”.

After four seasons in Florence, Vlahovic affirms that he will “do everything possible to achieve some of the goals that we have set ourselves”, and that is why, at the moment, the Serbian forward focuses solely and exclusively on the viola team: “I am focused on football, on training and improving everything possible to help the team. The 21-year-old footballer admits that he tries “not to follow the media a lot, but somehow it always reaches me. Either my friends send it to me or it appears on social networks.” And it is that 12 goals that he accumulates in 14 games this year, added to the 21 he achieved throughout the 2020/2021 season, have not gone unnoticed by anyone. “I hope to continue like this,” he said.

Vlahovic does not want to be the ‘new Ibra’
