The Vithas health group is the new official medical service of Atlético de Madrid until the 2025-26 season, with which it will provide comprehensive health care to the players of the rojiblanco club’s first men’s and women’s squads, and first subsidiary teams, reports in a statement.
Health care will be carried out through the ‘Invictum’ High Performance Medicine Unit of the Vithas Madrid Arturo Soria University Hospital and Vithas Internacional, where the medical examinations at the start of the season and the signings of the first team of the Atlético de Madrid masculine and feminine.
The ‘Invictum’ High Performance Sports Medicine Unit, led by Dr. José María Silberberg, will provide the rojiblanco club with a personalized medical service, and will offer a global vision aimed at ensuring the athlete’s health both with assisted diagnoses of the most innovative technology , and the treatment of pathologies with advanced therapies, such as injury prevention and the development of personalized performance improvement plans.
