MADRID, 24 Ene. (EUROPA PRESS) –
The AlphaTauri team, a subsidiary of Red Bull, confirmed this Wednesday that it will be called Visa Cash App RB from 2024 after the “multi-year” agreement reached between the Austrians and the company Visa, which will be a global partner of both teams, according to a release.
In this way, the Visa logo will appear both on the Oracle Red Bull Racing and Visa Cash App RB cars, as well as on the cars that the teams support in the F1 Academy. Thus, after months of rumors, drivers Yuki Tsunoda and Daniel Ricciardo will wear a new livery inspired by Visa and Cash App in 2024, which will be revealed on February 8, during the team's official presentation.
Visa Cash App RB team CEO Peter Bayer confessed that it is “fantastic” to reveal the new identity and welcome the “new partners” as they embark on the next “phase of the story” of the Formula 1 team. “Faenza is entering a new era, staying true to our roots as a talent generator, but now with a greater focus on competing for F1's biggest prizes,” he added.
For his part, Visa Chief Marketing Officer Frank Coper III commented that it is an “innovative” partnership and a “great opportunity” for the Visa brand to participate in “one of the fastest growing sports communities on the planet.” .
