Viral doctor Spiriman dies at 46 from lung cancer

Social networks mourn this Friday, October 14, the death of Spiriman, the doctor from Granada who became viral after his health protests in favor of public health. Since the summer of 2020 he had been fighting lung cancer.

Jesús Candel is the real name of Spiriman, the doctor who went viral during the coronavirus pandemic for his incendiary videos in which he criticized any measure taken by the Government to fight the disease. The polemicist achieved great media attention during the months of confinement.

In August 2020, he publicly reappeared to announce that he had been diagnosed with cancer that, over the months, seemed to be remitting. However, in November of last year, she told his followers that the cancer came back “with force”.

In one of his last Instagram posts, he wrote just two weeks ago: “I believe that God made me for a reason. He made me generous to be able to join very good people like you and to be able to do many things that please him. Only He He knows the end of my destiny, but so much love that he is giving me through you and my family, keeps me here”.

According to Ideal, the Andalusian doctor lost his life this Thursday, October 13, in the Granada municipality of Albolote. His funeral is scheduled for this Saturday, October 15 at 11 at the Granada funeral home.
