Vinicius becomes top scorer

Vinicius lacked a goal, Madrid still lacks. The Brazilian has resolved one of the weaknesses that was attributed to him in his first two seasons at Real Madrid. For the carioca, five games have been enough (he did not play against Betis) to equal the three goals he scored in his first campaign as a Madrid player (the last one he scored five). Hat trick (to Valladolid, to Levante and to Shakhtar) that make him the top scorer for Real Madrid so far this season. An exercise in which the Whites have barely been able to score 8 goals in 6 games (1.3 per game).

There is no doubt that the Brazilian has sharpened his aim as the seasons progressed. In his first exercise at the Bernabéu he needed 87 attempts to materialize the 3 goals he scored. A goal every 29 shots. So far this season, Vini has only needed 13 shots to score the same three goals.

Vinicius started his stage as a madridista scoring a goal every 434 minutes. Now his average is close to one point per game: he marks every 104 minutes that he is on the pitch. And he has achieved it with a paradox: the percentage of shots he directs between the three clubs is the lowest of the three seasons (30.8% of the totals and 44.4% of those that are not rejected with an opponent) . But his effectiveness is maximum: of the four shots he has directed between the three sticks this season, three have ended up in the back of the net.

Those three goals make Vinicius the top scorer for Real Madrid this season. No other white player has scored more than one goal. The remaining five goals are shared between Valverde, Ramos, Benzema, Modric and the one Emerson scored on his own goal at Villamarín.

One last piece of information. If Vinicius's precision in front of the rival goal has increased notably, the carioca has lost spark in his dribbles. This exercise tries one every 15 minutes and is succeeding in just over a third of them (35%). In 18-19, however, he beat his rivals in half of the dribbles he did, one every 12 minutes.
