Vingegaard, at the gates of his second Tour after enduring Pogacar on stage 20

The Slovenian prevails at the Le Markstein Fellering goal and the Dane secures his glory

MADRID, 22 Jul. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The Slovenian cyclist Tadej Pogacar (UAE Team Emirates) won the 20th stage of the Tour de France this Saturday, disputed over 133.5 kilometers between Belfort and Le Markstein Fellering, while the Danish Jonas Vingegaard (Jumbo-Visma) sealed his second title in this legendary race after putting up with Pogacar himself a couple of twitches and reaching the sprint among the favourites.

Pogacar thus won the penultimate day in this 110th edition of the ‘Grande Boucle’, with a final finish time of 3h27:18. On the other hand, the Spanish Carlos Rodríguez (INEOS Grenadiers) lost to the brothers Adam (UAE Team Emirates) and Simon Yates (Team Jayco AlUla), staying in fifth position in the general classification.
