The Villarreal celebrates this Thursday, March 10, its 99th anniversary with an act of recognition for the players of its current squad who have played more than a hundred official matches.
Thus, a total of eight players who surpassed the barrier of one hundred games with the La Cerámica team received this recognition and were presented with a commemorative shirt.
The honorees were Mario Gaspar with 419 official matches, Manu Trigueros (412), Sergio Asenjo (255), Moi Gómez (215), Gerard Moreno (204), Samu Chukwueze (142), Alfonso Pedraza (126), Pau Torres (120) and Raúl Albiol (116).
It stands out that seven of these players were trained in the lower categories at the facilities of Miralcampwhich ratifies the bet that the Castellón club has always made for the quarry.
