The Olympique de Lyon has confirmed this Tuesday that he has made the purchase option of the Cameroonian forward effective Toko Ekambi, who played for the French club on loan from the Villarreal from the past winter market.
The French team was obliged to take over the services of Ekambi in the event of obtaining the European classification but, despite the fact that the French league is not going to resume, Lyon have decided to also sign the footballer due to the agreed conditions.
Ekambi arrived at Villarreal two seasons ago from Angers, in a transfer valued at 18 million euros. After signing a good first season, his prominence declined in the second, so he was loaned out in the winter market, in which Villarreal signed Paco Alcácer.
