Villarreal: A year of Gdanks

One year falls on the night (May 26) in which the Villarreal achieved glory in Gdanks, when rising with the Europa League title against Manchester United. A victory that came with one of the matches and finals that will always be remembered, since it was decided in the penalty shootout and after 22 pitches.

A final in Gdanks attended by 2,000 yellow fans since the assistance was restricted by COVID, and in which the president Fernando Roig could not be present, as he did not overcome the quarantine imposed by UEFA.
