Vilella gets into the final draw of the Australian Open and Arruabarrena stays at the gates

MADRID, Jan. 18 (SportsFinding) –

The Spanish tennis player Mario Vilella will play the final draw of the Australian Open, the first 'Grand Slam' of the season, after achieving this pass on Saturday to beat the French Mathias Bourgue (6-1, 6-4), while Lara Arruabarrena He has stayed at the gates after losing to Japanese Nao Hibino (6-1, 6-2).

The ilicitano, number 196 of the ATP ranking, will play for the first time a final draw of a 'big' and will do so after winning with solvency in the last game of the pre-Bourgue phase. Vilella linked a 5-0 start, surviving even two 'break' balls, with which he put the first set on track, in which he only allowed his rival to win a game.

Already in the second round, he broke the service of the Frenchman in the seventh game and, although he could not take advantage of a subsequent break ball, he closed the crash with his serve and in just over an hour.

For its part, the Gipuzkoan Lara Arruabarrena will not be able to continue in Melbourne after falling to Hibino. Three breaks condemned her in the first quarter, which the Japanese took in 24 minutes, and although she started breaking in the second putting 1-2 in her favor, Hibino won five consecutive games to take the win in less than an hour.
