The Spanish women’s soccer coach, Jorge Vilda, will offer this Monday (11:00 am) the definitive list of 23 players called up to play the European Championship in England, so he will have to rule out five players.
Starting at 11:00 a.m., the official channels of @SefutbolFem and the team’s website will announce the 23 chosen for the continental event. An hour later, at 12 noon, Vilda will explain her decision at a press conference in the Villalonga room of the Ciudad del Fútbol in Las Rozas (Madrid).
On Saturday, Spain played the first match in the preparation phase for the European Championship, a duel that ended in a landslide against Australia at the Nuevo Colombino de Huelva (7-0). The last test before the tournament will be against Italy on Friday, July 1 at the Teofilo Patini Stadium at 5:00 p.m.
The Spanish will debut in the European Championship, which will be played from July 6 to 31, on Friday, July 8, against Finland at Stadium MK in Milton Keynes.
