The women’s national soccer coach, Jorge Vilda, was “deeply hurt” this Thursday because his players “have crossed the codes of soccer” by asking for his dismissal, but made it clear that he feels “stronger than ever” to continue in position and defended his “elite coaching staff”.
“I want to start with the feeling that I have of disappointment and I also feel deeply hurt by this situation, especially by the way of proceeding. I think that the codes of football have been crossed.
