Víctor Gutiérrez leaves the CN Terrassa for his position as new LGTBI secretary of the PSOE

MADRID, 19 Oct. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The Spanish Víctor Gutiérrez will not continue in the ranks of the Terrassa Swimming Club of water polo because “he cannot reconcile the practice of elite sports with his new responsibility as the new LGTBI secretary of the PSOE executive,” according to the Catalan team.

The 30-year-old Madrid player will hold that position at the proposal of President Pedro Sánchez, and he already warned last Sunday the 40th Congress of the PSOE in Valencia that he wants to “bring freshness” since “this issue needs to be renewed in the game.”

“The club wants to publicly thank the effort, involvement and dedication that has been shown during the two seasons that it has been part of the entity and wishes him many personal and professional successes for the future,” said CN Terrassa.
