Veteran Luis Sorribas Moya dies due to COVID-19

He coronavirus continues to leave former Real Madrid players on the road. This is the case of Luis Sorribas Moya, who at 75 has died from the terrible pandemic which in Spain has already left more than 28,000 victims. Sorribas He was a player for the first team in the 1963-64 season, in which Miguel Muñoz's Madrid won the league title. Luis Sorribas was a native of San Rafael (Segovia) and I played forward, specifically on the left wing behind Paco Gento and Manolín Bueno. Having two monsters ahead prevented him from having opportunities and that is why he left the club in the summer of 1964. He played a match against Indauchu in the last 16 of the Cup (10-2 in the total of the tie). The white club issued a public note of condolence, that joins the other illustrious madridistas who have stayed on the road during the pandemic, although not all have died from the coronavirus. Since March they have left us Lorenzo Sanz (president of the club from 1995 to 2000), Goyo Benito (1968-82), Radomir Antic (1990-92), Ico Aguilar (1971-79), the former vice president Amador Suarez (2006-09) and now Luis Sorribas Moya. Rest in peace.
