A goal from striker Jamie Vardy in extra time allowed Leicester to seal their qualification for the Europa League round of 32, after drawing 3-3 this Thursday on their visit to the Portuguese Braga field.
A draw that few could have imagined a few minutes earlier when Brazilian midfielder Frasergio established 3-2 for the Portuguese team in the last minute of regulation time by culminating a counterattack.
But neither did Leicester give up, which had previously managed to equalize the contest up to two times.
And minus its top star, forward Jamie Vardy, who sealed the tie and the classification of the “foxes” for the round of 32 by finishing off a Marc Albrighton center in the 95th minute, after a play that Vardy himself had been commissioned to initiate.
