The matches that Valencia plays at Mestalla in this final stretch of the League will be ‘presided over’ by the victims and affected by the coronavirus and to symbolize it the seat will be left empty presidential box of the Valencian stadium, which usually occupies Anil Murthy.

This initiative will premiere this Friday in the derby against Levante, whose president Quico Catalan He also joined this gesture “which aims to emphasize the memory of all the fans who will not be able to occupy their seats at Mestalla this Friday and, in a very special way, of those who, unfortunately, will never be able to do so again.”

The Valencian club plans offer all the leaders that visit Mestalla this possibility “As a sign of respect towards all those who died and were affected by the pandemic in our country, the cause of the resumption of La Liga without an audience in the stands of its stadiums.

The club's decision joins the minute of silence to be kept in all the stadiums on this ‘first’ day of this final stretch of the League to be played with the stands empty to avoid possible outbreaks of the pandemic.
