Valencia CF has communicated that 4 players of its first team have tested positive for COVID-19 in the antigen tests and PCR tests that it has practiced on the players and coaching staff on the team’s return to training after the Christmas break, reported the club che in a statement.
“The tests have detected 4 positives for COVID-19 in the first team, all of them have already been isolated and are in the process of recovery. Valencia CF wishes them a speedy recovery,” the note added.
Pepe Bordalás’ team, which missed the LaLiga Santander match against Elche CF because it was also positive for coronavirus, will face RCD Espanyol on Friday the 31st (4:15 pm) on the nineteenth round of LaLiga Santander.
