Valencia asks Hertha Berlin for the loan of Omar Alderete

Omar Alderete (Asunción, 1996) is awaiting a response from his club, the Hertha Berlin, to pack for Mestalla. Valencia has asked the German club for the transfer of the left-handed and international center-back for Paraguay (3 games, the last two in this Copa América) and the player awaits confirmation in the next few days.

The interest in Omar Alderete, revealed by the Argentine journalist César Luis Merlo, has the consensus of Miguel Ángel Corona and José Bordalás. The player's agent was recently in Valencia and the operation – concession – is pending on Hertha's position.

The German club joined Omar Alderete in October 2020 from Basel for an amount close to three million euros. The center-back has a contract until 2025 and last season he played 23 games between the Bundesliga, Europa League and the German Cup, although Hertha is open to the player's departure, although his intention today is to make money.
