Valencia and Gayà want to join once the crisis is over for life

Jose Luis Gayà, who will be 25 in May, lives his sixth season in the Valencia squad. Pedreguer's winger, who came to the Black and White Academy at the age of 11, He already has 223 official matches on his legs with the Valencia shirt, a team that is also one of the captains. Gayà represents the feeling of belonging in the dressing room and the club wants him to represent him for life. Therefore, Valencia, As reported by SER, it intends to extend the contract in the coming months.

Gayà knows this and he also wants to, although there is no hurry (he has a contract until 2023) and they will sit down to negotiate once the Covid-19 crisis has passed, which directly affects him as one of the footballers of the Valencia squad that has confirmed its infected.

Gayà, who has demonstrated his commitment in multiple transfer markets, will have an almost life-long contract on his table. Its clause is 100 million, although the amount is the least because Gayà has always refused to listen to offers from third parties. The winger plays for the club where he always wanted to and his wish would be to become what in England is known as a 'one club men', a man from a single club. Or at least be during his best years of professional football.

Valencia (also the footballer) wants Gayà to follow in the wake of illustrious black and white youth squads like Fernando Gómez Colomer (553 official matches, 15 seasons in the first team), Ricardo Arias (521 matches, 16 seasons) or David Albelda (485 matches, 15 seasons). Gayà is currently the second footballer in the Valencia squad who has played the team for the longest years and the most. He is only surpassed by Parejo, who is in his 90th season and has entered the top-10 of footballers with the most games (373).
