Uruguayan defender Bruno Méndez, new Granada player

MADRID, 26 Dic. (EUROPA PRESS) –

This Tuesday, Granada CF reached an agreement with Uruguayan defender Bruno Méndez, 24 years old and from SC Corinthians, for his incorporation into the red and white team starting on January 1, 2024.

Born on September 10, 1999 in Montevideo (Uruguay), Méndez trained in the youth ranks of Montevideo Wanderers, making his debut with the first team during the 2017 Clausura Tournament. From his country's League he left for Brazilian football in the 2018 season. /19.

There he has played for SC Internacional de Porto Alegre and in two stages with Corinthians, his last club. In addition, he has been a regular in the youth team of the Uruguay national team until he made his debut in November 2018 with the senior team, having already played six games.

“The club welcomes Bruno Méndez as a new Granada CF player, and also wishes him the best of luck on his arrival to the red and white entity,” the Andalusian entity concluded on its website.
