The Copa del Rey round of 32 match between Unionistas de Salamanca CF and Villarreal CF was suspended this Sunday, in the absence of a new date and time, before extra time began due to a failure in the lighting of the local stadium.
“The match between Unionistas de Salamanca CF and Villarreal CF, in the round of 32 of the Copa del Rey, is postponed due to a problem that occurred in the lighting of the Reina Sofía stadium before extra time began. The lights in the Salamanca stadium failed just before the start of extra time, after a first threat of a blackout. The match went to extra time after a 1-1 draw where the goals came in the final minutes. Ilias Akhomach scored in the 82nd minute for the 'submarine' and Alfred Planas equalized in the 87th minute for the team that plays in Primera RFEF.
